Satan’s Dominion & The Descendants of Adam

Forget what you’ve seen in the movies and on TV - Forget what you’ve read in horror novels. Satan is real! He is not some mythical, fantasy character with horns and a pitchfork. He is a former Archangel who rebelled against God eons ago and was cast out and banished from Heaven. His natural habitat is the atmosphere surrounding the Earth, that’s’ why in Ephesians 2:2 he’s called the Prince of the Powers of the Air. When our Primary Ancestor, Adam rebelled against God’s authority over his life and submitted to Satan he essentially handed over to Satan his own authority of the world we live in. Satan’s authority is limited and not complete, because Adam’s authority was also limited and not complete. Adam had delegated authority to rule the Earth, handed down by God to him as long as he submitted himself to God’s supreme authority. This authority was usurped by Satan when he tempted and deceived Adam’s wife to rebel against God and when Adam also followed suit and committed high treason against God’s Law. The fact is that all Adam’s descendants inherited the curse of a rebellious nature, making the very best of them enemies of God, totally unredeemable by their own efforts and abilities! These descendants of Adam are on a one-way trip to an eternity without God if they don’t turn from their innate rebellion and individually and personally change direction and submit to God’s supreme authority over their lives. The average person doesn’t realize that they are already under the dominion of Satan and desperately need to do something about it! They go about their everyday lives oblivious to the fact that at anytime they can exit this world and immediately enter Hell for all eternity.

He is a former Archangel Could you give the scriptural reference(s) indicating Satan was an "archangel" and not just an "angel"?

Thanks for reading and commenting on this Intel. The proper scriptural response requires more than just a simple reply in this box. I will respond to this question by posting another Intel soon. Thanks for your patience.
I will be looking forward to that Intel. As far as I know the word "archangel" appears only twice in scripture. 1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the archangel's call, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first KJV and Jud 1:9 But when the archangel Michael, contending with the devil, disputed about the body of Moses, he did not presume to pronounce a reviling judgment upon him, but said, "The Lord rebuke you." KJV
Neither of these refer to Satan.
Satan is only mentioned 49 times in the Bible Luke 10:18 and Revelations 12:9 are the only verses that seem to come close to implying Satan was a former archangel. I also looked at
Isaiah 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! [how] art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! KJV I await your Intel.
Yes, I agree that Satan was not an Archangel, the only archangel referred to in the Bible is Michael 1 Thessalonians 4:16
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Jude 1:9
Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee. There is also scripture that says: Galatians 5:26

Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Colossians 2:8
Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 1 Timothy 6:20
O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called: 2 Timothy 2:16
But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. Titus 1:10
For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision: Titus 3:9
But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain. James 1:26
If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain. So, rather than make this a slinging match... would it not be wise to agree to disagree. It is up to every individual to discern that which is right. :)
My reason for asking is not to be contentious but to gain insight. One of the things that Jehovah's Witnesses believe is that Jesus and Michael the archangel are one and the same. I do not believe such a doctrine is Scriptural. Part of the scriptural reasoning they use to come to this conclusion is that there is only one archangel using Jude 9. Knowledge that Satan was a former archangel, if there is such scripture that says that, would be helpful in showing them that Jesus is in fact NOT Michael the archangel. The scriptural references should be helpful in the new Intel as well. I respect and look forward to Reverend Alexander's perspective on this subject.
Yes, There is only one Jesus, and the Archangel Michael is exactly that... an Archangel. Jesus is the Son of God. Satan is far removed from both of them, in fact I have never been able to find the exact scripture that relates to him having been anything other than who he was, his position was obviously that of a loved heavenly being which he probably didn't enjoy being one of the plebs... he wanted more, and obviously was his reasoning in becoming the fallen one, and if you reference the scriptures with relation to the existance of more than one "devil" or "demon" it is obvious that he also turned other angels away from Gods grace and he is now the quassi ruler of the earth. However, we all know how that will end! :) I agree that the JW's have it all wrong. And I also look forward to hearing more on the subject from Everest John Alexander, although that may be highly unlikely, as they don't use the standard editions of the Bible. :)
